Refund policy
We want you to feel confident when purchasing from Nightmidsong. Please review the following return and refund terms before submitting a request.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days after receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

Complete, with all included parts and accessories

Accompanied by the receipt or other proof of purchase
Items that show signs of use, damage caused after delivery, alteration, improper handling, or missing components may not qualify for a return or full refund.
Sale-priced items are eligible for return under the same conditions unless otherwise clearly stated before purchase.
2. How to Request a Return

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.
Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted. Please do not send returns to the address shown on the original shipping label unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
3. Return Shipping Costs
For approved returns that are not caused by damage, defect, or an error by Nightmidsong, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining the shipping receipt until the return has been completed.
Nightmidsong does not charge a restocking fee.
The original $8.00 shipping charge is non-refundable for returns caused by a change of mind, accidental purchase, personal preference, or another reason unrelated to product damage, defect, or our error.
A refund generally cannot be completed until the approved return has been received, unless we agree that the item does not need to be sent back.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order after delivery.

If we require a damaged, defective, or incorrect item to be returned, Nightmidsong will provide return instructions and cover the reasonable return shipping cost.
Please retain the item and its packaging until we confirm how the claim will be handled.
5. Candle Return Conditions
For safety and product-integrity reasons, candles are eligible for return only when they remain:

Unlit

Unburned

Unmelted
-
Unused

Completely intact

In their original packaging
Candles that have been lit, burned, warmed, melted, cut, altered, or otherwise used are not eligible for a change-of-mind return.
This restriction does not prevent you from contacting us about a candle that arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
6. Candle Warmer Return Conditions
Candle warmers returned for a reason unrelated to damage, defect, or our error must be unused, complete, and returned with their original packaging and included components.
A candle warmer that has been damaged through misuse, unauthorized modification, incorrect voltage, improper handling, or failure to follow the supplied instructions may not qualify for a refund.
This restriction does not affect claims involving an item that arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
7. Order Cancellations
You may request cancellation within 12 hours of placing your order by contacting:

We will make a reasonable effort to cancel the order before it enters irreversible processing or is dispatched.
Cancellation cannot be guaranteed after the 12-hour period or after the order has been handed over to the shipping carrier or logistics provider.
If the order has already been dispatched, the regular return process will apply after delivery.
8. Address Errors, Unclaimed Packages, and Refused Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.
If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We will try to correct it before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once processing or shipping has begun.
Orders returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, an unclaimed package, or an unauthorized refusal of delivery may be subject to deductions for:

Storage or handling charges imposed by the carrier
Any remaining approved refund will be processed after the returned package has been received and reviewed.
For unexpected customs or import-related payment requests, please follow the procedure described in our Shipping Policy rather than refusing the package without contacting us.
9. Lost Packages and Packages Marked as Delivered
Claims involving packages that appear lost in transit or are marked as delivered but cannot be located will be handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
We will review the available tracking and delivery information and, where appropriate, open an investigation with the shipping carrier or logistics provider.
Any refund or replacement will be assessed based on the available evidence, the carrier’s investigation, this policy, our Shipping Policy, and applicable law.
10. Exchanges
We do not currently process direct product exchanges.
The fastest way to receive a different item is to request a return for the original item. Once the return is approved, you may place a separate order for the item you prefer.
11. Refund Review and Processing
We will notify you after receiving and inspecting an approved return.
If the refund is approved, Nightmidsong will initiate the refund to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to process and display the refund after it has been issued.

Refunds may be reduced or denied when a returned item does not meet the eligibility requirements described in this policy, where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits your right to contact your payment provider or exercise any rights available under applicable law.
